How Guitar Bling Came To Be
Our adventure in custom guitar knobs began in 2016, when shop owner David Gilson was building a custom themed guitar and wanted to add knobs to fit the guitar he was building. To his surprise, custom knobs were very hard to come by. There was nothing available except for common plain knobs.
David decided to be part of the solution and began creating his own handmade knobs with vintage coins like Mercury dimes, Buffalo nickels and Kennedy half dollars, to name a few. They lent to the classic look that he was looking for and put the finishing touches on his favorite guitar. So David thought “these guitar knobs really completed the look and feel I was going for, why not share these with the world so everyone can up their guitar game?” and Guitar Bling came to be.
